Investment banking, private equity, asset management and corporate finance. We place students on deal teams, investment desks and in family offices in Hong Kong, Shanghai, Singapore and Bangkok, and we handle the visa paperwork, the housing and the introductions.
A finance placement puts you in a junior seat on a live deal or a live portfolio, with the person who owns it reviewing your work.
We place students in investment banking, private equity and venture capital, asset and wealth management, and corporate finance inside operating companies. Every seat is arranged after a call about what you can model and what you want to learn.
The teams are small on purpose. You build the model, sit in on the diligence, mark up the memo, and watch the deal close or fall through. You leave with a reference from the person who signed it.
You won't process paperwork for a quarter. The placement is built around one transaction or one position, sized so you can deliver it in the time you have.
A finance degree helps but isn't required. Mathematicians, lawyers and engineers do fine here if their thinking holds up when a partner pushes on it.
We find that out on a call. We don't ask for a transcript or a GPA.
Every seat is arranged after the call. These are the shapes the work usually takes, not open positions.
Pitch books, models and due diligence on a live mandate at a boutique or regional bank.
Sourcing, screening and modelling inside an investment team. You see deals get done and get dropped.
Research and position work on a portfolio team. You write a thesis and have it picked apart.
Treasury, FP&A and in-house deal work at an operating company.
Direct investments and fund commitments, next to the principal of a single-family office.
Say so on the call. The five above are the shapes we usually find, not a menu.
Hong Kong is the deal city: investment banks, IPO desks, hedge funds. The best fit if you want to be on a transaction.
Shanghai is China's onshore market: domestic asset managers, RMB funds, and the finance teams of companies that list in Hong Kong or New York.
Singapore is where private wealth is managed. Family offices, asset managers and the regional offices of funds. An intern can sit close to a principal here.
Bangkok has boutique advisory firms, regional private equity and the in-house finance arms of family conglomerates. Smaller teams, wider view.

Thanks. We'll write back to set up the first call.
