How we handle your information.
Asia Internships is a private placement office. We keep this short and honest, because the people who fill out our forms are trusting us with their details. Here is exactly what happens to that information.
What we collect
When you submit the request-a-placement form, we receive:
- Your email address.
- The selections you made (field, city, and duration), so we can prepare for a relevant conversation.
- If you write to us directly, whatever you choose to include in your email, such as a résumé or notes about timing.
- Standard web analytics: the page you visited, approximate location, browser type, and whether you arrived from an advertisement or referral link. We do not collect IP addresses to any greater precision than country.
What we do with it
- Reply to your inquiry by hand, from a real person on our team.
- Prepare for and arrange an introductory call.
- Build the next placement cohort. Your information is reviewed only by members of the placement office.
- Improve the site by reviewing aggregate, anonymous usage patterns.
What we do not do
- We do not sell your information. Not to marketers, not to data brokers, not to anyone.
- We do not share your information with host companies or partners until you have explicitly approved a specific placement conversation.
- We do not enrol you in a marketing drip sequence. The only emails you receive from us are the ones written for your inquiry.
Who sees what
Three third-party services touch this data, each for a single, narrow purpose:
- Formsubmit.co delivers your form submission to our office inbox. Their privacy policy is available at formsubmit.co/privacy.
- Cloudflare hosts the site. The traffic figures we look at come from its request logs in aggregate; no analytics script runs on the site.
- Google Fonts serves the typography on this site. No personal data is sent.
Cookies and storage
If you arrive through an advertisement or referral link, this site keeps the campaign tags from that link in session storage for the length of your visit, so a request you send can be attributed to the right source. It is cleared when you close your browser. We do not use tracking cookies.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to:
- Tell you exactly what information we hold on you.
- Correct anything that is wrong.
- Delete your information entirely.
- Stop contacting you.
Write to info@asiainternships.com and we will respond within seven days.
Age
The placement programme is for university-age students. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of sixteen. If you believe we have received information from a minor, please contact us and we will delete it.
Where we operate
Asia Internships is a service operated by T8 Labs Limited, a company registered in the British Virgin Islands, with day-to-day operations based in Bangkok, Thailand. Personal information processed in Thailand is handled in accordance with the Thai Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). The rights described above (to access, correct, delete, or withdraw your information) apply regardless of where you live.
Changes to this policy
If we change anything material, we will update the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, contact recent applicants directly. The previous version of this policy is available on request.
